REMINDER On Absences and Leaves

Reminder on Leaves and Absences.

TO       :   HR/Admin

l.   Leaves can be availed only if in writing and/or as per schedule.  Leave of absences can be allowed if requested 7 days in advance.  TXT  is not acceptable way of applying for leaves are not accepted and is considered AWOL.  Excessive AWOL is subject to CCD

Leave of absences are not automatic and subject to approval.

2.  If you are late for 30 minutes or more. you are considered l/2 day absent;  there could no half day absence -  only one day absence  (this is to encourage late waking up, or night excesses)

3. If you have unexcused absence, you are marked absent for two days as an automatic penalty for being absent TO DISCOURAGE AWOL.

4.  If  you are absent/AWOL on the day before a holiday, you can not enjoy the holiday pay.

5.  Leaves are not to be scheduled on end of the month when everybody is running after sales.

6.  Birthday leaves are part of the 7.5 vacation leaves;  only those who have spent l year with the company are entitled to leaves.  Unavailed of sick leaves beyond an accumulation 30 day SL are convertible to Cash at the beginning of the succeeding year.

7.  Leave schedule must be submitted early:  if possible soon.<beginning of the year> They should be scheduled in such a way that there is no disruption of work especially during income tax filing and end  of the year especially for accounting staff

   The leaves must be recommended by SBUs and noted by HR/Admin.

This is just a reminder of our usual leave practices in the past.
