Re : What is Success
Success is the realization of desired goals.
Last Monday, I tried to check the communication links and system with the province. I gave up on texting but I was just trying our whether our people observe communications and how to relate this to our dismal sales performance.
Lo and behold. In one SBU, I got a whodis response. Only the CMO answered my call and not within the required 3 ring limit. Something was terribly wrong. I could not reach our staff, where in fact, we should be linked together by communications.
How could that bet? I couldnt as the Head of this Organization get in touch, much less get their respect, get them to answer the phone, much less ask them to get things done?
Why did I allow this to happen? Why did my direct reports, and their direct reports allow this.
How can we be successful?
How can we communicate once again?

We could not achieve anything without our passion to do the certain task. If from the simple instructions we are not obedient how it could be? How could we attain our goals?
ReplyDeleteThat is why we are obliged to do the right thing and make things happen. We are not hired just to watch things happen.

- Always bear in mind the ABCD Doctrine: A-accept the task assigned to us
B-Believe on our company’s MVBP, the standards, lectures that 3rd floor shared to us, memos, believe to our head’s plans.
C-Cooperate. Always cooperate. When our head needs our cooperation like for example he needs our presence, we must answer the phone & know his number.
It is not good that we employees don’t know who is our boss. D- Dance with the music. Whatever the situation, either good or bad we must to stand up continue what we’ve started and do our best shot to achieve our targets.
- Have discipline.
- Be responsible.

As direct report it is my responsibility to see to it that every employee up to the last man in the organization practice good habits. Good habits that includes discipline, obedience and diligence and improved communications.
ReplyDeleteWe cannot move forward if these simple things are not acted upon. As Cluster head improve the sense of ownership and responsibility of CMO/ACMO down to their staff. Talk not only to CMO/ACMO but all staff within the SBU
Like in he house, roof covers the house so that the people inside will be safe from rain and sun. In our organization, communication is the roof that must link us together. It will shield us against big problems. Remember those big problems accumulated and starts because of miscommunication and worst, lack of communication. There are available means of communication that were provided to us that we taken for granted. As part of the organization and our source of livelihood, we should be responsible to be obedient. Let start to small things like answering phone calls and text messages and having sun sim and cell phone which our organization required to us. This is a small way of showing gratitude for the company that give us not only source of livelihood but as well as contribute much on our self improvement and worth.

It is very unethical if we don't answer the phone or simply replying to text messages. We must be responsible enough even with simple things like this. We can't be successful if we have poor communication skills.

How could we be successful when in just small thing we can't comply. We need to follow everything, even the smallest thing in order to be successful. We should be thankful that the head of our company communicate with us regarding our job. He helps everyone of us to improve not only towards our job but ourselves as well. So if he asked for something we need to obey it. We need to do everything especially the smallest thing that would help us to be successful.

If Effective communication is successful, sales performance and customer service is also successful we have to bear it in our mind. It is a pleasure and opportunity for us to communicate to our boss and we have to grab that opportunity because it shows that he cares for us and he want to motivate, encourage us to improve ourselves, to be more valuable in this organization. Let us be successful. Let us communicate each other to know what to be done, things to repair, things that not clear for us to clarify all those problems we encounter,show our cooperation, apply the ABCD doctrine this is the reality and we have to do it now, not tomorrow, we have to think that today is our last day.
