I have seen projects that laid idle for years, repairs that get repaired after 2 to 3 years; instructions that are done late. In general, what happens is doing the old Filipino time - being late always. There were new CMOs (now gone) who came to work very late. Now, we have always emphasized that successful companies are those that are high speed especially in innovating. Genius is not the secret for being successful, but being first in the market place.
What are our options:
l. To be late always; let this bad habit be left uncured;
2. To improve.- to be on time
3. To be early to be before the time
Some WTDN
l. To enforce our system of imposing and collecting penalties from late works and reports. Its Pl00.00 per day of delay for not complying with thedeadline. (aa and ar)
2. To manually track each PDCA, vouchers and documents by attaching tracking documents and filling up the spaces (AA) as what we do with CV.
3. To be early.
Again, we are all given 24 hours to accomplish great things deeds in a day.
Time is gold.
Time lost is lost forever.
Shall we improve our attitude towards time? Our time management? Our meeting deadlines?

Have discipline at all times. Know your priorities, deadlines. Be responsible staff of HGPMP. Avoid alibis. When committing or making promises make sure that you will attain it. Remember, avoid the words to be eliminated. Don’t say “Akala ko kasi matatapos ko ng ganito pero hndi rin pala”. Or lets say “ Kasalanan kasi ni ganito kaya di ko nagawa”. “And sometimes we are on a rush because we don’t know our time management. That is why we need to have a plan before were going to work. If what is our first priority second and third priorities. So be it. Be RESPONSIBLE.

ReplyDeleteBeing on time needs discipline, determination and hard work. It does not emphasis only on coming in the office early but as well as in our deadlines, assignments, reports, etc. We should treat time like money. Great opportunities will be lost if we move slow especially in the market.
ReplyDeleteAs an officer, i should be an example to other.
1. Submit assignments, reports, proposal ahead of time to have margins for corrections and revision,if there's any.
2.Priority the things that will contribute in increasing sales and collection as well as beautification of memorial park and improvement of our customer service.
All of us have 24 hours everyday to accomplish our tasks, but attitude makes the difference.

Time gone is gone forever. And being on time is as vital as survival. We must consider time as an essential element towards success. The discipline of coming early at work is a proof of that we are having good attitude towards time management. Time is gold and time equals money. Therefore, we must value out time and how much our time goes and worths. We must maximize out 24 hours a day. We must exercise having no delays.
ReplyDeleteIt’s really ashamed that people think that Filipinos are called Juan Tamad and Filipino times. In order to eradicate such away of thinking of others, we must change and put ourselves in discipline mode. Like the United States is not the only society that places a high regard on being on time, Americans in particular it would seem have been criticized in the past for being a highly time-oriented people. We need to be time-oriented people to achieve what we want to be and to be a discipline people.

Time lost is lost forever, once it is gone is gone forever. We have to put it in action, we have do it now, not later or tomorrow. Response to it immediately if there is something to be done. Value every second, minute and hour we spend, we must be productive, we do not want to waste our time in some other activities not related to our work. We have list of things to do today and tomorrow, be prepared and have the right attitude.
